Responsibilities: The Research Assistant at Mt. Hope Family Center will be working on research studies to collect psychological research data. Research studies are related to examining the impact of stress, trauma, and child maltreatment on mental and physical health among children and adults. The position requires experience conducting research with families from diverse backgrounds. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Conduct research sessions with child and adult participants including interviews, surveys, observations, neurocogntivie, and physiological measurements. Assist with recruitment of participants for the study Code, organize, enter multi-method data from research visits into project databases Contact participants and schedule research visits; maintain good relations with participants and address any questions or concerns. Other duties as assigned MINIMUM EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE Associate's degree required Bachelor's degree preferred. Or equivalent combination of education and experience Prior experience as a Phlebotomist (discipline plus 2-3 years specialized experience in related field) preferred 2 years of research experience working with human subjects or equivalent combination of education and experience.
